Qantas CEO should resign after ‘cynical’ job cuts: Transport Workers’ Union

Job cuts by Qantas CEO Alan Joyce have breached the social contract that Australia put in place with the JobSeeker scheme, says Michael Kaine, National Secretary of the Transport Workers’ Union. He is calling for Joyce to resign after a “cynical exercise to reduce costs in the middle of a pandemic.”
