If you are interested in creating change and standing up for working people then this is the job for you! UFCW Local 99 is the largest private sector union in Arizona, a “right to work” state, representing more than 23,000 members who work mostly in retail and food processing industries.
Job Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to travel in and out of state as needed, this may include air travel.
- Dedication to work flexible and long hours.
- Ability to establish relationships with diverse groups and populations.
- Have a strong interest in labor rights and social justice.
- Experience with Unions or political campaigns are a plus.
- Independent and able to drive projects and programs to completion in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, results focused, and well organized.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
- Retail Food experience is a plus but not required
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred but not required.
Compensation:
- Salary dependent on qualifications and experience.
- Full benefit package, including health insurance, dental, pension, etc.
