Based in New York City, NY

Come be a part of the Sierra Club’s team working to place New York on an irreversible path to decarbonizing the energy economy and equitably transitioning from fossil fuels to 100 percent clean, renewable energy! Sierra Club is looking to hire a seasoned, strategic, and innovative campaigner to lead and coordinate our climate campaigns in New York.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of demonstrated experience planning and implementing successful campaigns, building and working in coalitions, working with volunteers, strong understanding of, or expertise in, electric and heating sector policies and programs, experience working with attorneys and utilizing legal advocacy, media relations, and advancing regulatory action and policy with state administrative entities.
Preferred Location: New York City, but will consider strong candidates in the Metro NYC area.
