Member Services Coordinator

Based in Burbank, CA

The Animation Guild is hiring a Member Services Coordinator.

This role will coordinate the Animation Guild’s ongoing member services programs and support the organization’s ongoing efforts to engage and activate current members. You will be responsible for growing existing member programs and implementing new initiatives in concert with an overall engagement strategy. Coordinating with Communications, you will initiate, plan and produce events that celebrate, educate, and engage the membership. You will help design, implement, and coordinate administrative frameworks for member volunteer efforts, including volunteer committees. Your actions will encourage volunteers, educate members, support activist leaders, and further the organization’s goals of improving conditions for workers in animation.

You will report to the Local 839 Business Representative and Office Manager.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to connect with individuals in one-on-one, small group and large group settings.
• Proven ability to initiate, plan, schedule and produce both private and public events.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement membership programs.
• High level of organizational skills, demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter, ability to work and produce results independently with little support.
• Prior experience developing, engaging and managing volunteers.
• Strong administrative and record-keeping skills, excellent follow-through.
• Energetic and committed to creating a culture and workplace that engages and supports the membership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continue and further refine current membership engagement programs
• Develop engagement programs for potential/incoming members
• Be the point of contact for membership committees, as well as multi-local member engagement committees
• Work with the Director of Communication and Content to support Local 839 Social Media presence and other projects.
• Other administrative support tasks as required.

Pay Rate and Benefits
The current salary range is $58,240.00 – $68,640.00 based on qualifications and experience. The Animation Guild, IATSE Local 839 offers excellent benefits through the Motion Picture Industry Pension and Health Plans.
