Organizer Fellowship Training Program
Training available in the Louisville, KY area
IUE-CWA seeks candidates committed to social and economic justice who are currently living in the Louisville area.
Through a paid entry-level fellowship program, fellows will receive training and education on organizing non-unionized workers in the private sector. Participants will learn the fundamentals of a labor organizing campaign, grow a national professional network in labor organizing, and develop the skills needed for social and economic justice campaigning.
Applicants should commit to 4-6 months to the program, with the following characteristics will be preferred:
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Must be willing to be a team player;
- Must be willing to work unusual hours, including nights and weekends;
- Must be willing to work within a manufacturing setting;
- Must be willing to learn new skills related to organizing;
