Union Representative
Based in Selbyville, DE
Job Requirements:
- Ability to handle grievances and workplace issues
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to establish relationships with diverse community
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid drivers license and vehicle necessary
- Bilingual (English, Spanish, or French Creole)
- Contract interpretation
- Planning and implementing assignments
- Recruit and develop shop stewards
- Must have a strong interest in labor and social justice.
- Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to keep detailed records and file reports timely
- Ability to maintain effective relationships with members
- Ability to work long hours independently
- 3 – 5 years of Union Rep experience
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
- Salary dependent on experience
