Labor for Bernie is hiring a National Organizer!

Labor for Bernie is a quickly growing network of rank and file labor activists and unions that support Bernie Sanders’ candidacy for president.

The Labor for Bernie organizer’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Recruitment of rank and file members and local and national unions to support Bernie Sanders for president and Labor for Bernie/
• Maintain and use online-to-offline organizing tools, including Action Network, Act Blue, Hustle, Facebook, Twitter, and others to communicate with L4B supporters.
• Fundraise actively from individual and institutional donors to maintain L4B financially.
• Support L4B aligned electoral and issue campaigns locally, statewide, and nationally.
• Coordinate with Our Revolution to build labor support for Our Revolution groups and members.
• Organize collaboratively with volunteer leaders of local L4B groups and the L4B National Board of leaders of unions that endorse the campaign.

Candidates should have experience working in the labor movement, be skilled in digital organizing tools, and have strong written and oral communication skills.

This is a six-month temporary position that can be part-time or full-time, with the possibility to extend based on developments in the campaign. Candidates based in Boston, MA or Washington, DC strongly preferred.
