Financial Data Entry Specialist

Based in St. Paul, MN

MSEA is seeking an individual for our accounting department located in St. Paul Minnesota, who will maintain the union’s membership database, process membership dues payments, monitor local accounts and all related functions.

MSEA is an independent union of nearly 7,000+ classified school employees from over 70 school districts in Minnesota. MSEA members are secretaries, paraeducators, food service employees, technicians, custodians, interpreters, nurses and bus drivers.

Responsibilities

• Recording new members into database and maintain accuracy of all membership data
• Posting payments to member records
• Researching, calculating and collecting dues from districts
• Answering member and district questions
• Maintaining unit bank accounts

Qualifications

• Proficient in Word and Excel with UnionWare experience a plus
• Adept with numbers and calculations
• Attentive to detail with high degree of accuracy
• Able to communicate with school districts and membership
• Having union and school district knowledge preferred
