The position and requirements are as follows:

Member Services Representative B – Level 4
Reports to the Claims & Member Services Manager and is responsible for:

• Responding to 50 or more callers a day proving benefit information, claim status, and member eligibility.
• Responds to most other caller requests
• Meets & assist members who come into the Fund office with claims or other benefits inquires.
• Responsible for any other related work that may be requested by the manager.

This position requires that the person have excellent communication skills and good interpersonal skills. Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required as well. The person must be PC literate. The candidate must have a Customer Service or Claims processing background to fill this position.
