UniServ Director – Capital Region

Based in Concord, NH
 

NEA-New Hampshire, a professional education organization, is seeking a UniServ Director for its Capital Region.  Responsibilities include negotiating collective bargaining agreements, representing teachers and school employees in grievance arbitration, mediation, fact-finding, working cooperatively with leaders to support and assist in promoting membership, organizational development and community organizing.  The position requires a team player who will work cooperatively and effectively with NEA NH staff, members and leaders within the educational community and with the public at large.  Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.  Experience in collective bargaining, grievance processing and dispute resolution required.  Must have effective oral and written communication skills.  Computer proficiency required.  Prior employment in union field work is highly desired.
