ATTORNEY or UNION REPRESENTATIVE, public sector
(Salary $90,000 – $130,000 annually, plus shared business revenue)
City Employees Associates, headquartered in Long Beach, is seeking an experienced attorney or union representative to serve as staff for small, independent employees associations and unions.
CEA currently represents more than 145 bargaining units in L.A, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Kern Counties. Our rapidly growing client base includes city, county and special district employees, under jurisdiction of the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act. Familiarity with the MMBA is a must.
Duties include union representation, contract negotiations; grievance & disciplinary appeals; arbitrations and PERB hearings. Negotiations experience required. Complex problem solving. Frequent interface with clients, employers and public officials.
