MNA’s commitment to organizing is growing and expanding!

We are seeking dedicated and experienced union organizers to join our exciting campaigns with registered nurses.

Organizers primarily work on representational elections/external organizing and work individually or part of a team, under the direction of Director of Organizing. Some internal organizing may be required.

Applicants should be able to use union and community organizing tactics such as: building committees, motivating and developing leaders, organizing around issues, dealing with employers’ campaigns, tracking member support, and showing leadership.

Bring your organizing skills to the union that is leading in building a statewide RN movement.

MNA is building member power to ensure nurses voices are heard when Hospital CEOs try to put profits before patients. The Michigan Nurses Association (MNA) is the largest, most effective union for registered nurses in Michigan. As the voice for all registered nurses in Michigan, MNA advocates for nurses and their patients at the State Capitol, in the community, and at the bargaining table.

Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of union organizing experience required.

Excellent salary and benefits commensurate with experience. Significant in state travel may be involved.
