Field Representative

Based in Columbus, OH

The Professionals Guild of Ohio is seeking experienced applicants for the position of Field Representative.

This individual will represent union members in collective bargaining contract negotiations, grievances, arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges and other SERB proceedings, workers compensation, unemployment compensation, and civil service proceedings. Other responsibilities include assisting members with employment issues, writing articles for the union newsletter, and training stewards and union officers. Candidates must have excellent oral and written communications skills, a strong background in collective bargaining advocacy, an ability to meet deadlines, take initiative and work efficiently including planning, organization and follow-through. A Bachelors degree is required and a graduate degree is a plus.

The Professionals Guild of Ohio is an independent trade union with a statewide membership primarily in human services, education, and health care.
