Business Representative for Live Performance
Based in New York City, NY
Job Description: United Scenic Artists is accepting applications for the position of Business Representative for Live Performance in the national office in NYC. The position involves administering and enforcing multiple collective bargaining agreements including Broadway, Off-Broadway, LORT and other single employer CBA’s with Theatre, Dance and Opera companies nationwide. Responsibilities also include grievance handling, tracking projects, site visits for contract compliance and safety issues, and coordination and support of 4 regional business reps. Also, interface with members, employers, the benefit funds, agents and other industry unions.
The successful applicant will have good language skills both verbal and written, experience in negotiation, good organizational skills, follow through, the ability to multitask, and digital literacy. Experience in Theatre, Opera or Dance production, or prior union/labor work is a plus. Training in labor law and other necessary skills will be provided.
The salary range for this position is $100K–$140K plus excellent benefit package. United Scenic Artists is committed to the principles of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
