The Clark County Education Association (CCEA) is seeking applicants for the position of an Attorney/Senior Labor Representative. Required experience includes civil and labor litigation, administrative hearings, and experience in public sector labor law, collective bargaining, and contract enforcement. Position requires extended work hours.

Clark County Education Association is the largest independent educators union in the Country and the State of Nevada. CCEA represents over 18,000+ Pre K-12 licensed employees in 357 schools in the Clark County School District (CCSD) which is the fifth largest school district in the USA. CCEA provides collective bargaining, worksite representation, legal services, professional leadership, legislative/political involvement, a membership benefits program and professional and personal development for its membership.

The Attorney/Senior Labor Representative works closely with and reports to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Executive Director and has the primary responsibility for implementing the Advocacy and Representation program of Association. The duties and responsibilities are:
Essential Qualifications and Experiences
The successful candidate should have a minimum of two years of civil litigation experience in labor and/or employment law, preferably in the public sector. Applicants must be committed to advancing the cause of public education and defending and advancing the interests of educators. Applicants should have strong research, writing, and communication skills as well as an understanding and use of data management and analytics. Experience in working in a right to work state preferred.
