SEIU 775, Washington and Montana’s long-term care union, is hiring a full-time summer Research and Policy Intern. This is a full-time, paid summer internship based in our Seattle Headquarters.
Principal duties and activities include:
As the SEIU 775 Summer Research and Policy intern, you will work closely with our research and policy team to research, analyze, and develop a policy proposal from scratch. You will learn to create a brand-new data set using public court records, and systematically analyze the data to inform policy decisions.
You will also have the opportunity to learn research best practices and techniques, how to create presentations about research and data, improve your Excel wizardry, and participate in local marches, rallies, and other labor movement events.

Compensation:
As an intern at SEIU 775, you will not be included in the collective bargaining agreement, however, your benefits will be top-notch, including comprehensive health benefits: major medical, dental and vision, cell phone allowance, ORCA Transit card, and a 401(K) Plan. Your hourly wage will be $15 per hour.
