The National Air Traffic Controllers Association, AFL-CIO (“NATCA”) represents over 19,000 highly skilled air traffic controllers, engineers, and other aviation safety-related professionals.
NATCA is currently seeking to temporarily fill the position of Administrative Assistant for the Executive Office at the Union’s headquarters in Washington, DC. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of support and general office functions for NATCA’s President and Executive Vice President, including assisting with their scheduling and travel planning needs, ordering office supplies, answering phones, filing documents, and assisting with expense documentation and vouchers, as required. This is a temporary position (no more than 90 days) with possibility for permanent hire.
Skills Desired: Qualified candidates should have at least an Associate’s Degree and five (5) years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work several projects at once under pressure. He/she must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook. Proficiency with Concur and/or Adobe is a plus.
