UniServ Unit Description
The Denver UniServ Unit (DUU) consists of three local unions: Denver Classroom Teachers Association (DCTA) for certified personnel, Denver Association of Educational Office Professionals (DAEOP) for non-certified office personnel, and DCTA-Retired. DUU represents approximately 3100 members. DCTA and DAEOP have comprehensive master agreements with the Denver Public Schools, an urban district of 90,000 students in more than 150 worksites.

The DUU office is located in the Colorado Education Association (CEA) headquarters building across the street from the State Capitol. The DUU office employs an Executive Director, three additional UniServ Directors, a UniServ Field Manager and two Associate Staff personnel. A Member Service Hot Line is utilized as a tool to meet basic member needs freeing UniServ staff to organize, recruit, and engage members, as well as advocate for individuals through grievance/legal processes.

Salary and Fringe Benefits
DUU offers a starting salary of $54,404.71. Fringe benefits include vacation, sick, and personal leave; insurance; holidays; and defined contribution retirement benefit.
