The Animation Guild is hiring a Magazine Editor for a new quarterly publication.
The Editor will be responsible for setting the overall course of this new publication. As Editor, you will determine the style of the publication and work with contributors and studios to write and produce articles. Working with a publication team, you will plan, execute and deliver four issues of this new magazine per year. Using your industry contacts, you will get clearance for photos and images to be used in the magazine. You will plan and produce photo shoots. You will edit and proofread all copy, and be the primary decision-maker for all editorial content.
You will coordinate with the Local 839 Communications Department, and share your vision for the editorial direction of the magazine with the Local 839 Executive Board.
Key Requirements:
This is not expected to be a full-time position, but Local 839 will provide benefits, and a salary commensurate with experience.
