Receptionist

Based in Fairfax, VA

The Sheet Metal Workers’ National Pension Fund, a large defined benefit pension fund located in Fairfax, VA, seeks an experienced Receptionist. This person will be responsible for answering phones, will greet and route guests, and perform light clerical duties to support daily business activities.

Candidate must have a minimum of one year of administrative/receptionist experience. They must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, have strong verbal and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently as well as within a team environment. They must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities, operate such office equipment as a computer terminal, PC, printer, copier, calculator, scanner, mailing machine and multi-extension telephone, and they must be familiar with Microsoft Office software.

Hours are M-F 9am – 5pm (35 hours per week), with an hourly rate of $18.47. Exceptional benefits and a great work environment offered. This is a union position.
