The Carpenters Industrial Council is accepting resumes to fill the position of Business Agent serving two Local Unions with approximately 2,500 members in Southern Oregon. We will begin interviewing qualified applicants soon.

We are seeking a proven union leader who can mobilize, advance, and defend the rights of industrial workers. The Business Agent serves union members working at wood manufacturing plants with multiple product lines for a single employer.

The ideal candidate must have substantial union leadership experience, familiarity with negotiations, be knowledgeable in grievance processing, employment law, and possess capabilities in bookkeeping, computer, and written skills.
