Position Summary:

Provide superior customer service and assist management with the day-to-day operations needed to achieve the highest standards in all areas of Fresh Eats Restaurant management. Role model and demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Exemplify the Customer 1st strategy by creating an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by offering customers product samples, answering questions regarding products sold within the restaurant and establishing the customers’ use of technology.
  • Stay current with present, future, seasonal, and special ads.
  • Support and uphold all Company policies as well as local, state, and federal laws/regulations including the local Health Department and Company Food Safety standards.
  • Prepare Fresh Eats Restaurant menu selections using proper Fresh Eats Restaurant equipment and specified recipe guidelines.
  • Properly use kitchen equipment and monitor temperatures in cases, coolers, and temperature logs.
  • Adequately prepare, package, label and inventory ingredients in merchandise and check product quality and “sell by” dates to ensure freshness.
  • Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify the Restaurant General Manager of any items in need of repair.
  • Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions, safety risks, and illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud to the Restaurant General Manager.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety to ensure food is maintained at proper temperature by regularly monitoring and documenting as required.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
  • Available to work all hours as assigned including overtime as needed
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs but could be more based on the job location

Desired Previous Job Experience

  • A high school diploma (or equivalent) or related retail experience is desired.
  • Current Food Safety Certification
