Position Summary:

Support all day-to-day functions, duties, and activities needed to achieve the highest standards in all areas of Fresh Eats Restaurant operations. Role model and demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.

Essential Functions:

• Motivate and support the team in day-to-day operations to provide a restaurant/food experience that surpasses our customers’ expectations.
• Train and develop new team members through quality orientation and onboarding.
• Support, uphold, and enforce all Company policies as well as local, state, and federal laws/regulations including the local Health Department and Company Food Safety standards.
• Role model the Customer 1^st strategy by creating an environment that exceeds customer expectations.
• Prepare Fresh Eats Restaurant menu selections using proper Fresh Eats Restaurant equipment, specified recipe guidelines, and food temperature logs.
• Operate equipment in Fresh Eats Restaurant according to company guidelines.
• Understand the Fresh Eats Restaurant’s layout and be able to locate products.
• Communicate and educate associates about current, upcoming and special in-restaurant promotions.
• Assist with implementing promotional plans set for the Fresh Eats Restaurant.
• Monitor and control restaurant expenses through product shrink and proper use of utensils when preparing food, proper scheduling of associates.
• Assist restaurant management in preparing the department budget.
• Assist with the inventory process and maintain an awareness of inventory/stocking conditions, food cost, labor cost and waste management, noting any discrepancies in inventory.
• Train associates on inventory/stocking and Computer Assisted Ordering.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases, coolers, and temperature logs.
• Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures.
• Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• 1+ years supervisory experience
• 2+ years working in a quick serve restaurant management position
• Proficient in using a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
• Proven customer service skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Available to work all hours as assigned including overtime as needed
• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs but could be more based on the job location

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• High School diploma or college
• Current Food Safety Certification
