The General Counsel’s office of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, AFL-CIO (IAM) has an opening for an experienced attorney in our Upper Marlboro, Maryland Headquarters.

Applicant should have 3 or more years of experience representing labor unions and workers and be well versed in a variety of labor and employment laws. Applicants with ERISA experience preferred.

Applicant must have a strong, demonstrated commitment to the labor movement and the needs of working families. In addition, applicant should be well organized and a self-starter capable of handling assignments with minimal supervision. Applicant also must possess strong people skills; excellent research and writing ability; and the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
