[color=blue]Hi jerseyitalian,
You do have the option of contacting the National Labor Relations Board, however, the NLRB appears to mainly persue cases in which there is some sort of illegal discrimination involved such as age, sex, religion, etc. Otherwise, a case as you described thus far is a business decision of your union and, whether or not you, I or the board agrees with this decision, is the job we are paying our elected union officials to perform. One method we have available to us is to vote those who we do not believe to be making appropriate business decisions out of office and elect better individuals into them when the time comes (usually about every three years).
Fraternally,
Dustin
